Our Trainer

Elizabeth Shea Drinkard is Up and Over Farms own "Horse Whisperer". She was born with a natural understanding of horses and now owns, trains and rides the horses for Up and Over Farm. Shea has benefited from some great trainers and has moved through the levels in 4-H and took her horse Justabuck to prelim in eventing. Shea’s horses Justabuck, Truth Is and Final Count became Hunter Jumper Champions, and Mocha Latte’ is champion in Pleasure driving, Utility driving and In Hand Trail. Shea trained her Mother with Final Count and Justabuck to become Champion and Reserve Champion in Pleasure Driving. Her students have all done well inside and outside the show ring.

Shea continues to ride and train eventing horses now taking our own Win ‘n Spirit through the event levels.

Shea has trained with Lellie Ward of Paradise Farm in

Aiken SC . Lellie is an international rider and trainer who has been a member of the United States Equestrian Team and long listed for the Olympics many times.

Shea also trained for Dressage with Amy Joseph McElroy of Aiken and others.

Shea has continued her equine education in clinics with such greats as Ian Stark, Lucinda Green, David O'Connor and Phillip Dutton as well as clinicians Pat and Linda Parelli and Clinton Anderson.
